Round trip on MAN Lion's City DD L(3 Door Concept Bus)-SG5999Z

Today's hunt for SG5999Z was special-unlike other times, in which I only took this bus unidirectional, for today's hunt, I decided to experience a round trip on this bus, beginning and ending at Bedok. As the bus pulled in at 1445, I immediately joined the queue to board the bus and luckily I did- the next 7 to depart was SG5999Z. As usual, I sat on the upper deck and attempted to hyperlapse the entire route, but it ended in failure due to overheating of my device- it was a very hot day!!! At least I have an intro for my Youtube channel now
Still, I went down to the lower deck and managed to engage the SBS staff who were auditing the operations of SG5999Z and they knew immediately that I was a bus enthusiast due to way I talked to them-very technical
Of course, I gave them my honest opinion on SG5999Z and I talked to them about my hobby as well and they shared with me the departing and arrival times of this bus at the two interchanges which I will not disclose here. They also shared with me some experiences with the rogues-for the most part it was those who were attempting to steal bus parts like stickers or the emergency hammers-the rogues were chased off the bus for the most part. The bus driver was very friendly and noticing that I was a bus enthusiast, even allowed me to take photos of the driver's cab(of course, from the aisle)
When the bus arrived in Clementi, I was informed that the bus would depart again for Bedok at 1640H and I thought to myself "why not go for a second run?" Which I did, queueing up almost as soon as I had alighted from SG5999Z. During the wait, a MAN A95 batch 3 departed as 7A, followed immediately by a Citaro, regular 7. 5 mins later, at 1740, SG5999Z pulled into the berth for another departure, and I boarded and settled into another routine trip on SG5999Z. The first half of the trip was spent talking to the SBS staff once again and they told me that SG5999Z will continue its trial until October and that the 100 3 door buses will arrive by next year. Of course, I also shared with them my bus hunting experiences and that SG5999Z is still my favourite bus among the buses in Singapore, and for good reason too.
At Bedok, the bus seemed to develop problems with the front door, for the left leaf couldnt close compeltely!
After they got it sorted out, SG5999Z was parked at Bedok Interchange for a while before it went back to BNDEP.
Overall, it has been a really interesting afternoon on SG5999Z.
